Verse of the Day

A verse from an earlier day, with its reflection and prayer.

The Lord directs his steps

“A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.”

Today's insight

You may wake up with your entire day mapped out, yet God remains the one who truly guides your movement. It is natural that "A man's heart deviseth his way," but true peace comes from remembering that "the LORD directeth his steps." When plans shift or unexpected turns arise, you can rest knowing that your path is being shaped by wiser hands than your own.

Reflect

Where are you trying to force your own plan today instead of letting the Lord guide your next step?

Prayer

Lord, I bring You my plans and desires for today, but I surrender the outcome to You. Guide my feet through every change and interruption, and help me trust where You lead. Amen.
