How Sermon Series Planner works

Plan several Sundays at once. Name a book, a theme or a season and choose the number of weeks, and the planner proposes a passage, title, hook and application for each week, held together by one through-line. Send any week to Sermon Prep when it is time to build it out.

Example verses

A run of related verses makes a natural series. The Beatitudes alone give four strong weeks:

  • Blessed are the poor in spirit · Matthew 5:3

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

  • Comfort for those who mourn · Matthew 5:4

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

  • Blessed are the meek · Matthew 5:5

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

  • Hunger for righteousness · Matthew 5:6

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Scripture: King James Version (public domain).

About the Sermon Series Planner

Describe the series you want — a book of the Bible, a theme or a season of the church year — and choose how many weeks. Lampfold proposes a passage, theme, hook and application for each week, with a through-line that ties the series together. Take any week into Sermon Prep to build the full outline.

Passages are checked against the bundled Bible text. Treat the plan as a draft to adapt to your congregation and calendar.

Try it with: Six weeks in Philippians · Advent: four weeks of hope · The Lord’s Prayer, line by line
