Verse of the Day

A verse from an earlier day, with its reflection and prayer.

Fearfully and wonderfully made

“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”

Today's insight

When you look at your life, remember that you are "fearfully and wonderfully made" by God. His craftsmanship in you is not an accident or a mistake, for as the psalmist says, "marvellous are thy works." Knowing this truth deep within your soul gives you a steady reason to offer Him praise every day.

Reflect

Does your soul truly know and rest in the truth that God made you wonderfully, or are you tempted to doubt your worth today?

Prayer

Lord, I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made by Your hands. Help my soul to know right well that all Your works are truly marvellous. Teach me to honour the life You have so carefully shaped. Amen.
