Verse of the Day

A verse from an earlier day, with its reflection and prayer.

Blessed to be a blessing

“And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:”

Today's insight

When God speaks, He links His favor directly to your purpose. He promises, "I will bless thee," not so His gifts end with you, but so that "thou shalt be a blessing" to others. Whatever kindness, strength, or provision you receive today is meant to flow outward into the lives around you.

Reflect

In what practical way can the favor and care you have received from God overflow to someone who needs help today?

Prayer

Lord, thank You for Your faithful care and the goodness You pour into my life. Teach me to hold Your gifts with open hands so that I may truly be a blessing to others. Amen.
