Verse of the Day

A verse from an earlier day, with its reflection and prayer.

Fullness of joy

“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

Read in context Explain

Today's insight

God does not leave you to guess your way forward; He promises, "Thou wilt shew me the path of life." True gladness is not found in temporary circumstances, but directly "in thy presence" where there is genuine "fulness of joy." Walking closely with Him leads to lasting peace, offering "pleasures for evermore" that outlive the worries of this world.

Reflect

Where are you searching for joy today, and have you paused to seek it simply in God's presence?

Prayer

Lord, show me the path of life when my way feels uncertain. Draw me near to You today, and let my heart find complete rest and fulness of joy in Your presence. Amen.
