Verse of the Day

One verse, a short reflection and a prayer — the same verse for everyone today.

Coming forth as gold

“But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.”

Today's insight

Even when your path feels uncertain or heavy, God is never in the dark; "he knoweth the way that I take." The hardships you face are not meant to destroy you, but to refine you. When the trial has done its work, you have this steady assurance: "I shall come forth as gold."

Reflect

What hard trial in your life right now is God using to shape you into something purer and stronger?

Prayer

Lord, thank You that You see every step of the road I walk today. When You have tried me, refine away my fears and impurities so that I may come forth as gold for Your glory. Amen.
