Verse of the Day

A verse from an earlier day, with its reflection and prayer.

My help comes from the Lord

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.”

Today's insight

When you face steep challenges, it is natural to look around for relief and wonder where support will come from. Yet true assistance does not originate in the landscape around you, but from "the LORD, which made heaven and earth." The One who created everything you can see is the very same Lord who offers personal help for your journey today.

Reflect

Where have you been looking for strength lately, and how can you turn your gaze toward the Creator instead?

Prayer

Lord, when life feels overwhelming, help me to look past my worries and lift my eyes to You. Thank You for being my steady helper and the maker of heaven and earth. I put my trust in Your faithful care today. Amen.
