Verse of the Day

A verse from an earlier day, with its reflection and prayer.

Greater is He in you

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

Today's insight

When you face pressures that feel far too big, remember where you belong: "Ye are of God." You do not face the trials around you in your own fragile strength, for "greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." Because He dwells within you, you can walk forward with quiet confidence rather than fear.

Reflect

Where in your life today are you acting out of fear of what is in the world, instead of trusting the One who is in you?

Prayer

Lord, thank You for dwelling in me and reminding me that I belong to You. When the challenges of this day seem overwhelming, steady my heart with the truth that You are greater than anything I face. Help me to rest and walk in Your quiet strength. Amen.
