Verse of the Day

A verse from an earlier day, with its reflection and prayer.

What the Lord requires

“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”

Today's insight

God does not leave you guessing about what pleases Him. He has already shown you "what is good," asking not for grand displays, but for a life shaped by integrity and compassion. Each day, your calling is simply "to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God."

Reflect

Where in your daily routine today can you choose fairness and quiet mercy over asserting your own way?

Prayer

Lord, thank You for showing me clearly what You require. Teach me today to act justly toward others, to extend genuine mercy, and to walk humbly beside You in every step I take. Amen.
