Verse of the Day

A verse from an earlier day, with its reflection and prayer.

None holy as the Lord

“There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.”

Today's insight

When life feels unstable, this verse reminds you where true security rests. The declaration that "there is none holy as the LORD" sets God completely apart from anything or anyone else in this world. Because "there is none beside thee," no human power or circumstance can rival Him. Calling Him a "rock" means you have an unshakable foundation to lean on, no matter what shifting sands you face today.

Reflect

Where are you currently looking for security that only God, your true rock, can provide?

Prayer

Lord, I praise You because there is none holy like You and none beside You. When my heart feels shaken by the worries of this day, anchor me securely upon You as my rock. Amen.
