About Verse of the Day

Everyone gets the same verse each day, chosen from a list of well-loved passages. With it comes a short reflection, a question to carry through the day and a prayer.

The verse is quoted from the King James Version; the reflection is written by AI and its quotations are checked against the text. Use Previous day to read earlier verses, and turn reminders on or off in Settings.

Verse of the Day

A verse from an earlier day, with its reflection and prayer.

In Him all things hold together

“And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”

Read in context Explain

Today's insight

Before anything else existed, Christ already was. He stands prior to your worries, your plans, and every challenge you will face today. Even more, "by him all things consist"—He is actively holding your world, your life, and the entire universe together right now.

Reflect

What part of your life feels fragile today, and can you trust that Christ is holding it together?

Prayer

Lord, thank You that You are "before all things" and that my life rests safely in Your hands. When everything around me feels uncertain, help me remember that by You all things hold together. Amen.

AI-written reflection on the verse above. Let Scripture itself be the main thing — read the whole chapter.
