Verse of the Day
A verse from an earlier day, with its reflection and prayer.
The Word became flesh
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
Today's insight
God did not remain distant from our struggles; "the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us." In Christ, the holy presence of God entered our ordinary, fragile human existence. Today, you do not worship a faraway Creator, but One who walked our earth and meets you where you are, "full of grace and truth."
Reflect
Where in your ordinary, everyday life do you need to look for Christ's presence and grace today?
Prayer
Lord, thank You for drawing near to us and making Your home among us. Open my eyes to behold Your glory in the midst of my routine today. Fill my heart with Your grace and truth as I walk through this day. Amen.
