How Sermon Manuscript works

When an outline is not enough, Manuscript writes the whole sermon out in full prose. You get an opening that earns attention, exposition of the passage, stories and examples, application and a closing call, ready to rehearse aloud or read from the pulpit in preach mode. Edit it until it sounds like you.

Example verses

Each of these passages carries a complete message from introduction to altar call:

  • Saved by grace · Ephesians 2:8-9

8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast.

  • Here am I, send me · Isaiah 6:8

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

  • A new creation · 2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

  • A living sacrifice · Romans 12:1

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

About Sermon Manuscript

Where Sermon Prep gives you an outline, Manuscript writes the full sermon: introduction, exposition of the passage, illustrations, application and a closing call to response, shaped by your tradition, audience and language. Open it in preach mode when you are ready to deliver.

Scripture quotations are checked against the bundled public-domain Bible text. Edit the draft prayerfully and make it your own before you preach it.
