About this journey

A journey is a short, themed path through Scripture, one day at a time: a passage to read, a short reflection, a question to journal on and a prayer.

Start at day 1 and go at your own pace — your progress and private journal are saved on this device and synced if you sign in. A “Beta” tag means a pastor has not reviewed the journey yet.

Ascension: He Reigns

Forty days after Easter, Jesus was taken up into heaven. The ascension is not a goodbye but a coronation: the risen Lord now reigns at the Father's right hand, prays for his people and will come again. Spend a week reflecting on what his reign means for your worship, your fears and your daily life.

  2. Day 2: Why stand gazing?Acts 1:6-11Jesus tells his followers they will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes and be his witnesses to the ends of the earth; he is taken up, and two men in white promise he will come again in the same way.
